Forest perspective

Published on

Lately I’ve been having thoughts about my true insignificance in the world. Not that I did not fundamentally “matter” to myself or another person as a human being, as the person that I am. But more and more, I found that almost everything that makes life and the world meaningful, joyful and whatnot was outside of me, and it had nothing to do with me.

The individual psyche becomes a bore after a while when there is the amazing psyche of the forest.

What could be more beautiful and exciting than the psyche of rivers, with manatees surfacing in water for a quick breath before they dive deep again, or the roots of gigantic trees connecting underneath the earth while they welcome fall with their changing colors?
